Canny Comms wins Armed Forces Covenant - Silver Award: Proudly supporting those who serve
Canny Comms has been announced as the recipient of a Silver Award by the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme.
This award reflects the effort that Canny Comms has gone to make service personnel, community members, and supporting reservists as part of its team.
Canny Comms CEO, Lindsay Harbottle, a military spouse herself, said, “We provide really flexible and rewarding roles which suit spouses, veterans and reservists well. The skills and experience we gain in the organisation are fundamental to our services and our clients benefit hugely too. Its lovely to be recognised for our efforts to support a community we care passionately about – now to start planning for gold!”
Canny Comms signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant in January 2021, first achieving the bronze award. Further requirements for Silver Award include the need to proactively demonstrate that the armed forces community are not unfairly disadvantaged during the recruitment process, that the workforce is aware of positive HR policies and a framework exists to support Reserves personnel, including at least 5 days additional leave.
